Co-Founders​

Emily ZhouWang
​Co-Founder

Emily (a.k.a. Amily) is an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse. While she was a student at UC Berkeley, she served as the Director of Professional Development for 180 Degrees Consulting and the Marketing Chair for the Berkeley Finance Club. Outside of work, she’s interested in photography, film production, and Avatar the Last Airbender. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Kathleen Kong
​​Co-Founder

Kathleen is an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi in San Francisco. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Business Administration and Computer Science with a minor in Data Science. When she’s not busy working or napping, Kathleen can usually be found drinking too much bubble tea, managing her food Instagram account (@eatswithkath), or jamming out to Taylor Swift!

Alice Ren                                                                         
​Co-President

Alice is a Senior at Rutgers University majoring in Finance and Business Analytics. She has interned at Deloitte as a Discovery Consulting Intern and Summer Scholar in Strategy & Analytics exploring industries of healthcare and financial services during Summer 2022 and 2023 respectively. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new foods, watching Netflix, and graphic design. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to connect!
Tara Almosawi                                                           
​Co-President
Tara is a current Senior at the University of Western Ontario, studying Political Science and Government. She is interested in marketing, consulting, and international law. She is passionate about going to art galleries, reading, bullet journaling, and thrifting! Feel free to reach out to her with any questions!

Anya Button
​Director of Finance - Sell-Side

Anya is a third-year at Duke University and Dzialga Women in Finance fellow. She previously interned at Bank of America's New York office in their M&A group and will intern within Goldman Sachs' classic investment banking division in the summer of 2024. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Anya is currently spending an exchange year at the London School of Economics and Politics. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, fine dining, and documenting her adventures on her Fujifilm x100v. 

Mary Chen
​​​Director of Finance - Buy-Side

Mary is a Senior at NYU Stern studying Finance and Statistics with a minor in Philosophy. She is an incoming Private Credit analyst at Ares Management after interning there last summer. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, drawing, taking walks in the city, trying out new restaurants, and building dioramas. Ahri Wu 
​​Director of Consulting

Ahri is a Senior at Northwestern University, majoring in Gender & Sexuality Studies, Communication Studies and minoring in Music. She has previously interned at Bain & Company and Deloitte and will be joining Oliver Wyman post graduation. She is from Shanghai, China and Irvine, California. In her free time, she likes watching movies, singing, and watching stand-by comedy. 
Amy Tu
​Director of Technology
Amy Tu is a first-generation student at the University of California, Berkeley, where she is pursuing a double major in Data Science and Economics. With a strong passion for data-driven decision-making and a deep interest in data, finance, business, and innovation. Her long-term goal is to establish a nonprofit coding academy, aimed at empowering underserved communities with essential skills and opportunities. In her spare time, you can find Amy weightlifting, honing her culinary skills, learning new hobbies, and playing sports like table tennis and badminton. She values quality time with her friends and family and enjoys exploring the world through travel! She anticipates being a valuable resource for all members of Becoming Businesswomen, utilizing her skills and knowledge to enhance the technological aspects and facilitate its mission!

Kirsten Cha
VP of Membership

Kirsten Cha is currently a Senior at the Haas School of Business, pursuing a BS in Business Administration and minoring in Data Science at UC Berkeley. She interned at Angeles Investments on the Investment team for Summer 2022, Desert Springs Capital as a PE Analyst Fall 2022, and Credit Suisse’s IB CM team Summer 2023.  Her passions lie in expanding DEI and ESG efforts in the finance world. In her free time, you’ll find her shopping for quokka brew, scrapbooking, or trying to find a place to play golf. 

Elizabeth Low
​​VP of Sponsorship

Elizabeth Low is a current junior at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas studying finance and data science. She is keen on pursuing a career in investment banking and is interested in integrating her interest in data science with a profession in finance. In her free time, she enjoys playing ping pong and the violin and loves exploring various cuisines. This year, she anticipates being a resource to all the members in Becoming Businesswomen and is looking forward to being a part of the amazing community at BB!

Gladys Wan

Gladys is a senior majoring in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. She is passionate about personal and professional development and dedicated to empowering and making a positive impact. Cecilia Liu
​VP of Social Media

Hi everyone! My name is Cecilia and I am Becoming Businesswomen's VP of Social Media this year! I am currently in my third year at the Ivey School of Business at Western University studying Business Administration. I am interested in consulting, specifically within the tech industry. I love going to concerts, crocheting, and spending time with my friends and family!

Louise M. Morman is an experienced management consultant and executive coach who focuses in the areas of strategic planning, energy, and sustainability.
Ms. Morman has had a long and successful career as a senior management executive for three
major energy companies, most recently as Senior Vice President, Marketing, Supply Planning
and Economic Development for the New York Power Authority.
Majoring in Systems Analysis, she earned a B.S. from Miami University. She also earned an
M.B.A. from Wright State and a M.A. in Leadership and Transformational Learning from New
York University. She has received additional education and certification from the Advanced
Management Program of the Harvard Business School end the Hudson Institute of Coaching,
Santa Barbara.
She was thrilled to return to Miami University in 2011 to work with the Lockheed Martin
Leadership Institute to cultivate leaders who will flourish in their professions and lives by
thinking strategically, working collaboratively with others, effectively communicating their
ideas, and finding innovative solutions to society’s most complex problems.
